GLP-1 Nutrition: A Supplement Pack Is Not Lunch

If a GLP-1 medicine makes your appetite smaller, your food plan needs more attention, not less.

Eating less can make it harder to get enough protein, fiber, fluid, vitamins, and minerals. That does not mean every person needs the same supplement list. It means the nutrition question comes first.

Start with food and fluid

A 2025 joint advisory from four major nutrition and obesity groups says nutrition care should be part of GLP-1 treatment. The plan should focus on nutrient-rich food, enough protein, fluids, movement, and help with stomach side effects.

Put that in plain English:

  • Eat the foods you can tolerate.
  • Give protein a place in meals and snacks.
  • Drink fluids through the day.
  • Add fiber in a way your stomach can handle.
  • Tell your clinician if nausea, vomiting, constipation, or very low intake keeps getting in the way.

Protein needs are not one-size-fits-all. Age, body size, activity, kidney health, and other medical needs can change the target. Ask the clinician managing your medication or a registered dietitian what fits you.

A supplement can fill a gap. It cannot become lunch.

Supplements may help when food intake leaves a real gap. They do not replace meals, fluids, movement, sleep, prescribed medicine, or medical care.

Before adding a supplement, ask:

  1. What am I eating most days?
  2. What am I drinking?
  3. What medicines and supplements do I already take?
  4. Is there a known gap, symptom, or lab result we are trying to address?
  5. Can I see every ingredient and daily amount before I buy?

That is a plan. Grabbing another bottle because the front says “GLP-1 support” is not.

What the WIC GLP-1 Support Pack is

The Wellness in Chaos GLP-1 Support Pack is a fixed 30-day protocol. It is not personalized or editable.

The current formula lists seven supplements and the amount in one daily pouch:

  • Glutamine, 750 mg
  • Chromium, 1,000 mcg
  • Ginger root, 500 mg
  • Alpha lipoic acid, 500 mg
  • Soothing Fiber Formula, 350 mg
  • Probiotic, 10 billion live cultures
  • Berberine, 500 mg

The full list is shown before checkout. Bring it to the clinician managing your medication, especially if you take prescriptions, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

Fixed pack or personalized pack?

Choose the path on purpose.

A fixed protocol keeps the same ingredients and daily amounts for everyone who orders it. A personalized pack can be built ingredient by ingredient and edited before checkout.

Neither path makes food optional. Neither path replaces your clinician. The right next step is the one that gives you a clear list, a clear reason, and fewer guesses.

Start with the nutrition question

A smaller appetite is not a smaller need for nutrition.

Start with food, fluids, and the clinician managing your medication. Then use a clear supplement list only when it fits the job.
